Each municipality has an exclusivity agreement with one of them; therefore you will have to subscribe with your municipality’s exclusive provider. Providers all give access to both analog and digital TV.
National operators offer similar services for television. All operators offer national francophone and Flemish /Dutch*channels as well as national French channels.
Only VOO is different thanks to its premium BeTV service.
Only a small number of foreign channels make deals for television in Belgium. We advise you to consult the "Television par Satellite" (Television by satellite) section in order to discover the possibilities of a connection by satellite.
Although most providers propose TV (through TV cable or telephone land line), phone and Internet packs, you are still free to choose individual subscriptions for each service from different providers. While packs are financially attractive, they may not always be the optimal solution. In any case, consider the following :
The availability of cable services depends on where you live,
Home alarm services can only be connected to land line telephones (only Belgacom),
You do not necessarily need a fixed telephone line to have access to Internet,
TV providers do not all give access to the same TV channels.

Scarlet also offers land line telephone, DSL connections and access to Belgacom TV, although in this case availability may vary from one house to another.
BeTV gives access to exclusive, thematic, BeTV channels featuring recent films, series and sports football matches (including Premier league, Liga, Bundesliga), tennis, golf, basketball...
In all cases, subscription is possible online, in the providers’ shops or via distributors. All the relevant addresses and telephone numbers are referenced on the next page. In order to make sure all your connections are active when moving in, providers should be contacted at least four weeks in advance (at least for telephone). The length of subscription and connection procedures will depend on the services chosen, and equipment needed.
