Châteaux de la Loire (France)
The Loire Valley is located two hours South from Paris. Often it is called the Cradle of the French or the Garden of France due to its many orchards and vineyards. Nowadays it is primarily known for the incredibly high number of castles, most of which are just exquisite. During this trip we will see five exceptional ones up close: Blois, Cheverny, Chenonceau (top destination), Amboise (final resting place of Leonardo da Vinci, and Chambord (majestic). A regional expert guide will stay with us for 3 days to tell us all about 1000 years of history and to show us these castles. This way you will learn everything about the history of the region, the outside and inside of the castles and all the fun anecdotes.

Champagne Daytrip
Our Champagne trip is back! Finally, for the first time since October 2019 Expat Club is returning to the most prestigious wine region in the world. We are talking bubbles today!

Join us on our signature trip to the vineyards in the Champagne region. During this day we visit 3 top Champagne houses in Épernay: Mercier, Moët & Chandon and Boizel. Afterwards we continue our way towards Hautvillers, the #1 Champagne village. Here we enjoy lunch across from the abbey where Dom Perignon, the "inventor" of the Champagne, used to live.

Finally we visit the region's capital Reims, with its many Champagne houses, the impressive St Rémy Basilic and the historic Cathedral where the French kings were crowned and with extraordinary stained windows of Marc Chagall. This is truly a day to never forget.

Sailing Trip @ Northsea
On Belgium’s National Holiday we travel to Oostende for an exciting sailing trip on the North Sea. We always arrange two great sailing boats for a relaxing day out on the open waters. Our first boat is a traditional wooden two-master of 28-meters that offers much space for a wonderful time. And if you really love active sailing, and are not afraid of "hanging" a bit in the boat, then our second 14-meters sailboat is going to be your ultimate sailing experience. Depending on the wind conditions we set sail for either Nieuwpoort or Blankenberge, where we will have lunch before returning to Oostende. A return train ticket with reserved seats to/from Oostende is already arranged for you, so the only thing you have to do is to take your sunglasses and sunscreen and let us do the rest.
