What you should know about Brussels before arriving
"Citizens Garden", the new garden of the Wiertz museum located on rue Vautier in Ixelles, officially opens to the public.
The aim is to preserve this oasis of greenery and to share it with the inhabitants of the district as well as all the people of Brussels.
The sculptures and paintings by Belgian artist Antoine Wiertz are still where he left them. Other sculptures representing famous European philosophers and artists enrich the garden's collection.
Major renovations are underway in the house.
The central pavilion will host a classical music concert every day at 1 p.m. until October 30.
The garden will be open every day of the week
From 8 a.m. until 7.50 p.m. in September
until 5:50 p.m. from October 1 to March 31,
until 6:50 p.m. from April 1 to April 30
until 8.50 p.m. from May 1 to August 31.
