The cooperative « Les Terres d’Ici, l’Eco-farm du Long Fond » is located where the old Long Fond farm used to be, a (plant&flower) nursery for 35 years, in the heart of la Forêt de Soignes, listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. This pilot experimental farm offers the development of a sustainable alternative for bio and local production.
Based on the principles of permaculture, workshops teach you to make nesting houses, hotels for insects, shelters for hedgehogs and seeds. Courses on the vegetable garden, orchards and permaculture and the soil are offered on Wednesdays and on weekends.
Finally, the « consom’actors » can come to buy vegetable baskets. Shops and grocery store will welcome you.
