Let's continue our programme for the second part "Our children in the big museum of Brussels" and let's go to  ...

 

1. Le Wiels :

Le Wiels is not considered as a big museum but more like an international laboratory in the creation and diffusion of contemporary art. It is organised in the form of an ASBL whose function is its presentation, production and education.  It is a dynamic museum, original in its project to heighten the awareness and to gather people together.   We absolutely "adoooore" Le Wiels and it is different from the others:

 

- Training for children

To explore different ways of expression in order to control their activities.

Public : Children from 7 to 12 years
Hours : from 9h00 to 16h00 (welcome from 8h30 and nursery until 17h00)
Price : €120/5 days (€100 for inhabitants of Forest)
To schedule/plan : Children must bring a picnic

- Cine-club for kids

Every last SUNDAY of the month, from 10h30 till 13h00, the Cine-Club offers kids from 5 to 12 years the opportunity to discover animated films which are out of the commercial successes. After the film, it’s the imagination of the children which is the focus of attention.  A bilingual workshop of one hour is organised relating to the subject of the film.

- Family fundays

Every first Sunday of the month at 15h, discover exhibitions with your children : a guide will accompany you for an exclusive, interactive and bilingual visit.

- Wednesday Workshop

A different artist each month, coordinated with artistic workshops, inspired in their own way by ongoing exhibitions. During the sessions, the children are introduced to various techniques and explore their own potential expression.

- May Baby

For very young children during 3 weekends (23/05-07/06), they are offered different experimental, artistic and sensorial workshops. It is an occasion for parents to “stop the clock” to enjoy a shared experience with their baby..

2. Atomium Kids :

What is the Atomium for a Belgian ? An extraordinary building, unusual and unforgettable by its appearance.  Take your children there. It will put them in a good mood and fill them with dreams.

 

Celebrate his/her birthday at the Atomium

A playful visit to the temporary ongoing exhibition and a DIY workshop during which each child makes a small model.

- Training

Different formations are organised at the Atomium on all types of practices and themes. This year you can find there : architecture (design object), graphics, videos…all the dates and information can be found on their website.
