Even on its small scale, Radisson RED Brussels puts all its energy into an environmentally friendly policy.
Radisson RED Brussels is a unique hotel located in the heart of the European Quarter, just a stone's throw from public transport, making it easy to discover the vibrant capital of Belgium.
From birth, the hotel affirms a strong eco-friendly policy. Designed to reduce the use of papers, the guest can find all the information on the Radisson RED application or on the wall of the hotel. Meetings & Events clients are free to write on the large erasable walls in the meeting rooms. Also, flooring is made from recycled materials. Finally, the hotel offers guests the option of not having their rooms cleaned every day in exchange for a voucher that they can use another time or donate to the SOS-Children's Village association. In short, everything has been thought of to adopt a green attitude.
Radisson RED Brussels says NO to food wastage! Partners with Too Good To Go, the hotel has a willingness to banish waste by giving people the opportunity to enjoy the remaining food from the restaurant. In the same way, plastic use is banned as far as possible at OUI Bar + KTCHN.
And the hotel doesn’t stop there in their commitment! On the top of the Radisson RED Brussels, they set up a Tesla battery: thanks to solar panels, it supplies energy to the "digital wall" that allows guests to obtain information and advice about Brussels. In addition, the sports machines in the gym produce energy that is reused in the room or are used to recharge the batteries of your mobile devices while you exercise. Such a sustainable trick, isn’t it?
Always receptive to new engaged initiatives, many actions are organized every year for our community. The “Swap party” is one of the unmissable events in the hotel: come and swap items like clothes, books or vinyl records previously collected during 1 month by the RED team. Recently, SAMU Social in Brussels received a donation of pillows from Radisson RED Brussels.
Don’t hesitate to go on their website and take a look at their many initiatives!
