Your activities during a "special" summer in and around Brussels The brussels organizers are full of imagination

Posted on 03.08.2020

Various Activities

In different places in Brussels and in Belgium, instead of the usual big events, outdoor spectacles will take place during the months of July-August.
So, rather than crossing the country to gather in a meadow or in a crowded room to discover your favorite artists, it will be possible to leave your home to discover actors, musicians, visual artists, writers, dancers , comedians, sports .... the imagination of the organisers has done wonders.

Here are some events not too far from your home:

This summer (July, August and Sptember's we) , MOVIE DRIVE, in collaboration with visit.brussels will offer you a unique experience of an open-air cinema 2.0. In July, August and during the weekends of September, discover your favorite movies on the biggest LED screen of Europe. With a dimension of 24 meters long and 14 meters high, three times larger than any usual drive-in, it will ravish all cinema lovers.
An experience to live with your family or friends from the comfort of your car in strict respect of sanitary conditions.

Exi (s)t, the photo exhibition that enlivens the streets of Brussels.
The signs in the city that usually inform us of upcoming events are: Covid forces, no announcements. Artepub had the good idea to offer these spaces to the cultural sector. There are, therefore, a hundred photos taken by 52 photographers who have invested in the locations. Open your eyes wide!

Gaufres & Waffles
The Bois de la Cambre is a popular destination for walkers - you can spend a whole day there. You don't have your picnic and you don't want to sit down? So why not have a good waffle? Waffles and Waffles has just opened an ephemeral chalet entirely dedicated to waffles, sweet or savory. A classic of Belgian gastronomy revisited, a delight.

Chemin du croquet, 1 - 1000 Brussels

The Midi Market Every Sunday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Adjoining the Midi station, this very large market is worth a trip and transports you via the incomparable Maghrabine flavors. The atmosphere is so exotic. A taste journey, a visual journey, around the Mediterranean, as if you were there. And not negligible are the prices which defy all competition.
