Sport Vlaanderen Hofstade is located near the exit No. 11 (Zemst-Weerde) of the E19 (Brussels-Antwerp). The centre is 172 hectares and includes a large area of sport and recreation and a protected natural area.
The recreation area includes a guarded artificial beach, a modern playground for children between 3 to 12 years, several taverns, “Bootshuis”, “Zomerlust”, “Beach Restaurant” and several nature trails.
Sportsmen can enjoy themselves on a Finnish field track, a Fit-o-meter, several sport areas (football, basketball, beach volleyball) and a mountain bike track. The centre includes also an indoor pool and a gym. Schools and sport clubs may use other sport accommodations such as: kayak, sailing, windsurfing, obstacle course, wall climbing, archery, mountain bike , ... All these sports can only be practiced under supervision of our instructors.
